The TSP Performance Management Framework is made up of different parts.

Sustainable Community Strategy

The Sustainable Community Strategy sets out a long term vision for Tameside and high level aims for the Borough. The strategy is based on six aims which were identified by local people, through consultation, and supported by statistical data.

The Sustainable Community Strategy sets out clear aims and priorities and areas of focus for each aim and all local area agreement measures are aligned to the appropriate aim..

Each thematic partnership has agreed a Partnership Agreement with the TSP Board. The Agreements set out how they are contributing towards meeting the aims and priorities in the Sustainable Community Strategy and the key areas they are responsible for improving.

The Tameside Strategic Partnership has an Improvement Programme (60KB) Adobe Acrobat Format for the next 12 months. It aims to create a more efficient and effective TSP.

Local Area Agreement

The Local Area Agreement is a three year agreement between central government and the TSP.

The LAA is based on the aims and priorities of the Sustainable Community Strategy. The LAA includes 93 performance targets which support and deliver the Sustainable Community Strategy’s vision and priorities.

The LAA is monitored quarterly by a Steering Group. The group considers the progress of the entire agreement and the specific performance measures. The performance of the LAA measures are also monitored quarterly through the Thematic Partnership Agreements
