The first ever Tameside Strategic Partnership engagement plan has now been launched. ‘Empowering Tameside’ is made up of three parts:

- Engagement Strategy
- Engagement Activity Audit
- Engagement Toolkit

‘Empowering Tameside’ Engagement Strategy sets out the way the TSP enables local people to get involved in decision-making and provides a more co-ordinated approach to consultation and engagement. All partnership organisations have adopted a set of shared principles to ensure residents are more informed and involved than ever before.

An Activity Audit outlining all regular engagement opportunities in Tameside supports the strategy. This highlights expertise, resources and existing activity across the TSP so events can be shared by partners. Why not take a look and see for yourself!

Practical guidelines on how to conduct high quality engagement are outlined in the Engagement Toolkit. TSP organisations can refer to the toolkit when planning any engagement event.
