TSP Conference (July 2010)

Leading Locally to Deliver Better Outcomes

100 members of the partnership from across 40 organisations attended the recent successful TSP Conference on 13th July 2010 at Hyde Town Hall.

The event focused on improvement and efficiency in delivering services. The outcome of the conference was summed up perfectly with the one group work table feeding back "We all play a key role in removing professional boundaries to deliver a smarter way of working".

The conference outcomes will be used to inform the TSP Improvement Programme with innovative ideas being implemented through thematic partnerships.

Delegates discussed how we can bring more innovation into the TSP to improve outcomes and create efficiencies.

Partnership DVD

The last 12 months has seen some great successes for the TSP in a challenging year which saw the global recession and a severe winter. This DVD shows how the partnership worked together on reducing inequality in the borough. View the DVD here.

Feedback on the Event

86% of delegates were very or fairly satisfied with the event, 7% were neither satisfied and 7% dissatisfied. Over half of the delegates found Stephen Taylor's ‘Making the Leap' section the most useful part of the day. If you would like the contact details for Stephen Taylor or Diane Neale please email partnership.coord@tameside.gov.uk. Delegates asked for more discussion time to be built into future events but felt the introduction of display stands centred around the Sustainable Community Strategy to be a real success.
